This past year I learned a lot about AdultFriendFinder and the people that hang here. Someone that I thot I really knew, cared deeply about, turned out to be a fake. Broke my heart. I had given this person my all, having never met her, and coming to the realization that I never would. Promises broken, shallow words. On the positive side, I have met some really cool, very real people. That is the memories I will always treasure. Some good friends, you know who you are. As the new year rolls around, keep your heart in check. Give your heart, loyalty, love to those who are real. They are here, sort through the chaff. I have, been there done that.

I have recently come to realize that I am glad this year happened, even if it was one of the suckiest I have ever had.
I learned a lot about friends, lovers, patience, truth, trust, loyalty, kindness and perserverance. Lessons I KNOW I won't ever forget and I will take with me into 2011.

Lessons learned......... 1. Friendships take time...........trust, loyalty, and commitment. Sometimes that is hard to do in cyberworld.......... but when you find the right mix.......... cherish and treasure it.
2. Long distance relationships are HARD WORK. If you develop one, be prepared to put lots of time and effort into maintaining it. Loving someone else always takes time and energy..... but the rewards for those efforts are endless.

I too have met many good ppl and forged some great friendships both in my mind and in my heart. hoping 2011 brings more of the same and a more meaning relationship in my heart. I agree with txgal that long distance relationships are hard and take time but I am willing to give my all to the one who wins my heart and gives hers back in return.

2010 was one of the worst years I have had in my life. I left this site for several months and just recently returned with any regularity.
As of this moment I'm not too sure that I will even keep my membership. I can't even find the girl I was before. Seems I have killed her off and returned to my former life as a celibate person. Its safer for me that way. I know I will no longer cam.
As for the rest only time will tell..

2010 wasn't great for me either but 2009 was worse, was made redundant and all sorts! Here's to 2011 everyone x | |||
