All the labels seem so limiting. We're "open" and don't feel like any one label fits us because any or all of them could fit us, based on the chemistry and connections that happen.
Some people we know are very excited to "be" one of these labels... like they "are" poly, or they "are" swingers...like they have found their identity and are grateful for it.
That's awesome for them, but it doesn't feel right to us. Being "open" let's us find the right fit for any particular person or couple that we like. It allows for infinite possibility because we embrace potential and seek to find the right vibration...the right frequency...the right note...with them, whatever that might turn out to be.
We are open to all the options and don't feel like we can fit into any single one, so when people ask us what we "are", we just say: "open"!

How do people with "do it"? I mean, they soak up all your free time...where do you find the time to dress up, go out, meet people, hook up, etc...?

Big deal, right?! well, it is and it isn't. I've been wanting to be "out" about being non-monogamous for a long time, but I'm always too afraid, but after a lot of talking and conversation with my spouse, we finally decided to go ahead and do it.
The moment i changed the status from "married" to "open relationship" it sent out a "life event" post to ALL OF OUR FRIENDS! eek!
