I was given another exposure to "customer service" yesterday . It seems that in many areas, the companies are not insisting that their employees be calm and courteous to the customer. I had an incident yesterday with a return clerk . It was a simple exchange, they had given me the wrong item. The clerk tried to treat me with a "go away" attitude. I have learned to record any encounters like this. When I demanded to see the store owner, the clerk related a much different story to him, intimating that I was the rude one. When I showed the video to the owner, I was treated much differently with very good service. And the original clerk was fired on the spot and forced out of the store. I am starting to wonder if it relative lack of personal interactions that is causing some of the problems. Are you experiencing these types of problems more frequently? Do you have any that you can share with us?

no need to record it. any store that has a customer service department also has audio and video. the thing they lack is proper training, and the ability to have the right people in the right places
and if they have all that they also have a union therefore firing an employee is not as simple as trump's "you're fired!" slogan!

I have a short temper, so this just drives me crazy. The store that I know have bad service are off my shopping list

Wow what an experience you had. Glad you got the store manager involved. Good you did record it as the clerk can’t say something different. Really have not had a bad experience at all. Hugs V

Sucky experience but a good result after your video. I've not run into any trouble with returns so far.

Sorry you had to go through that yesterday, some people are just so rude. I have noticed more people recordning their experiences. I guess they won't be being rude to you anymore good for you. And I am glad that the store owner fired her!! I hope your day is a smooth and wonderful one today..
