It's a Thing. On this frakking VEXING-ass site, I've spent time in Cam rooms of such Quality, that I've grown unusually-frequently bored with porn.
Risquebaby's MAGMA-moving curves; CrisiChaos's EXUBERANT (and *possibly* Supernatural) stamina; Holliex6's...unfair representation of the possibilities of the human form; FlirtyVixen2's earthy, philosophical, Puckish, Kaylee-Frye-esque sensuality; AylaAZ's......*EVERYTHING*....
Etc.
Brain-meltingly beautiful women on screen are NEVER a thing that would go amiss. But such women who play and challenge and ENGAGE are...*compelling!* Some you connect with, and some you just groove on watching them connect with others.
Key point: CONNECTION.
Was watching a lovely Cam this eve. It was one of the Buzz-Mode Cadre, but the thumbnail was irresistible.
Folks kept buzzing (couldn't *actually* tell if the toy was in place, though. Ultimately not my business, but I'll reserve the decision to buzz or not to buzz according to my ability to perceive directly that it's *going* somewhere). Others and I sent a series of messages, spanning a spectrum of propriety. Occasionally, the lass in the cam worked a keyboard.
But nary a syllable did appear in a light blue field.
Eventually, I elected to move on to other waiting tabs. She *never* got *any* less beautiful and alluring, mind you...But...

There are MANY Whackadoos on this site. There are MANY manifestations of incompletely-cooked psyches lurking about.
There are MANY examples of people who simply cannot de-center from their own Fantasy Head-Montages long enough to perceive that the image on the screen is home to a Consciousness, whole and entire.
Chilling, really.
I have personally witnessed a lass falling asleep on cam. I had --a bit self-consciously-- kept the window open while I practiced guitar. It was a soothing glide after the smoldering talk that we'd lately shared. This enabled me to witness a peanut gallery of ghastly wankers speculating on what they would do to her slumbering form (would-be Cosby motherfrakkers!).......Even after her crawled into bed with her!(!!)
I purposely posted a long series of one-word responses, to scroll the pane so she wouldn't have to wake up and see such Horrid Pathology on her screen.
I have seen women called the most *blood-curdling* things, way longer into the kind of personable, chill conversations which SHOULD have been a clear signal that this was NOT the sort of exchange where such talk was welcome (and NO Shade on those where it is. But, really, is it TOO much to ask that one get out of one's head long enough to read the room??).
It is sensible for a woman....for a PERSON to let some clock cycles elapse before dropping shields. It is Mad to NOT allow such time.
Still.....
Over the last few days, I have had a conversation with a woman --a bright, sexy, accomplished, strong-seeming woman-- whose responses to my messages seemed Stuck in a place where I felt I had to feel out what she feared, and to find ways of answering her that incorporated and normalized those fears, allayed them, and yet did not come across as me Working TOO Hard to allay them (which is JUST what a predatory psychopathic Soul-Carnivore would do).
Alas, as of this writing, I have not been able to dislodge her from her trepidation.
This was not a Failure on EITHER of our parts!
I do not claim any Magical Ability to convey Trustworthiness, nor arrogate to myself the Entitlement to engender such trust.
I do not posit that she was in ANY way Obligated to bestow her trust upon me, nor to abandon the self-care which protects her from the depredations of the unscrupulous.
But it makes me Sad.
She is HAWWT.
I FULLY expect that we would have been able to coax all MANNER of Yummy, Sweaty imagery from each other's mind, to get each other off in a MARVELOUS fashion.
But this was Blocked by all the cod-noshing chowderheads on this site who make erring on the side of caution the Smart Play.
Bad apples. Bunches.

Is it arbitrary? Of course it's arbitrary. What, after all, does the Gregorian Calendar have to do with the Realities of the 'verse?
Still and all, this Janus-Faced Day offers a convenient opportunity to revisit --and perhaps revise-- some of the patterns of our choices, interpretations, and actions.
It provides a perceptually salient Page-Flip, a Screen-Refresh which, while it possesses no *real* significance in the ol' Grand Scheme of Things, can nonetheless partake of whatever significance with which we might *choose* to imbue it within our consciousness.
As with all things, it is what we *make* of it.
So, to you all (and to myself, for that matter), may this made-up Transition provide the occasion for a useful editing pass, and may the resultant narrative flow with incrementally (or profoundly) greater grace, elegance, kindness, and what wisdom might be had.

Like, a LOT.
Look, I've been over the Points thing. In principle, I like it. Why shouldn't there be a way to derive some tangible return for the enjoyment that can be had from a good Cam show? I think that's shiny.
I mean, I do tend to be turned off by the more brazen "Give me points to see [...]" sessions, but that's just *my* aesthetic. There are others who seem to dig it, and the haggling can be entertaining. Go with gods, I say.
But this? Prospective viewers are being prompted to *lead* with a point transfer, before they even see anything. Even that's fine in principle. I suppose. If it floats based on enough people's participation in it, then I suppose the "Market" will have spoken.
For my part, I will be voting with my "feet," and will not have any part of it. Indeed, I have found myself subsequently avoiding the cams of those who use it. I've even blocked one member (so far) who seemed to *never* get on cam without splashing that screen in my face.
Kinda hoping I'm not alone on that.

You know what I'm talking about.
Let's squander some time that neither of us can afford, perched atop the library roof, untroubled by the prospect of a trespassing citation, commenting on (and, perhaps, occasionally hocking the odd loogie at) the slouching sluggish crush of the mundane arrayed before us. Let us be merciless (though --because we're not fundamentally narcissistic-- not *altogether* unsympathetic) toward the beige Wednesdays on parade before our restless selves.
Let's flirt *outrageously*. Let's compete to see who can conjure excruciatingly delicious involuntary responses from each other's nethers from afar. Let's make no demands, claim no Ownership or Entitlement. Let's not even meet in person.

Might be evident by now that the Cam Chat is one of the chief uses to which I put this site. Not really beating any bushes (errm...I mean....nevermind) to meet, as such (not out of the question, mind you, but that's subject to parameters which lie outside the scope of this particular post). But it *is* quite nice to while away some time with fetching lasses across this Marble, to admire the Lovely, exchange quips, share in some virtual pleasures, make each other's night. It's actually a Gas.
What's *LESS* so is the profusion of looped vids (my personal fave was one in which the first ten minutes or so was one young lady....then abruptly it became another....for about five minutes....then a *third*.....then back to the first. I you not [seriously, Boris, could you at least make a bloody *effort* at verisimilitude??]).
This, in turn, is an outgrowth of the "Points" system, farming points from hapless admirers. That system also gives rise --by some reports-- to a kind of 'catty' Policing of lasses who are on for the sheer joy of it, and who do not make their Reveals contingent on the forking over of the virtual chits. I've heard tell of lasses who get Reported by others --and thence kicked-- for "giving it away" during their own (point-seeking) shows. Can't compete with Free, after all!
Lastly, guys! That server! The moment a young lady elects to unveil the NSFW, the feed will stutter and crash. Nearly EVERY. Single. Time. Can we TRY to get a little more bandwidth behind these feeds? Pretty-Please??
So here it is: It's actually Cool that folks can leverage others' appreciation of their enjoyment of their bodies into a revenue stream. That's a nice bit of in-home wampum that folks can gather, and I have *no* wish to pee in that punch-bowl.
But couldn't it be possible to allow Cammers to opt out of showing for points? Perhaps someone more clever than myself could devise a way that point-seekers would not be on the same feed as For-The-Fun-Of-It cammers, and so not be competing with them? The incentive to go to the Point Feed would be the extra bit of Oomph that these exhibitors would bring to the party, and not pick on the recreational cammers for 'devaluing the currency.'
As for the integrity of the feed: One thing that tends to crash a show with great alacrity is the *BARRAGE* of "View My Cam" requests that can get gushed into the proceedings. Couldn't a Cammer have the option of automatically blocking all Cam Requests (more like *demands*) if desired, and so mitigate the impact of these things? I mean, it's really clear that the backbone needs substantial refurbishment, but there's something that could be done in the meantime, to prevent these shows from crashing at REALLY...errrm....inopportune times!
This experience could be SO much Better.
Shall we make it so?

Met a young woman from FL, via some fun banter on Cam Chat. There were messages and IMs and a couple more Cam sessions in which my arrival registered with conspicuous delight in her lovely, beguilingly expressive face.
And, in mid-conversation, her ad Disappeared.
People's circumstances are Complex. What we see here are but shavings off the top of the tip of the iceberg of a life. I do Get that.
I am not feeling Aggrieved, or Deprived of something to which I was Entitled. I don't fancy that we'd had a Relationship, or any other such delusional (and cree-PAY) nonsense.
But it's a Bummer.
Connections are Important. Even lighthearted, superficial ones are a nice minestrone for the soul.
And, grateful as I am for the spoonfuls that I did get to enjoy, and (sincerely!) hopeful as I am that the circumstances which caused her to *BAMPF* like that do not constitute anything Unpleasant in her life.....I can't deny how I feel at having savored what I didn't know would be the last mouthful, then hungrily dipping my spoon for the next...only to find that someone had removed the bowl when I wasn't looking.
Reckon that's just an A-F-F Thing (gods know, I've had enough experiences to recognize that!). There's no recourse (not, anyway, without a level of Stalkerish Sleuthing in which I have NO inclination to engage)
Just saddens me, is all.
