Wardrobe's Chauffeur. A Poem
Wardrobe's Chauffeur. A Poem There is a nip In the air A sweater I shall wear. My tanned arms Shall not be bared As they were Only a few days before. It is nature's way It has to have a say In our choice of clothing Our wardrobe chauffeur As it maneuvers us As we head outdoors. We are at it's mercy If we are to seek comfort And not be Taken unawares. It's easier to remove A sweater or jacket If one finds it hotter As the day goes on Than to keep rubbing One's arms To warm them up. Although a shiver Can present The perfect excuse For a man to come And act chivalrous Like Sir Galahad Offering his own jacket Or his hands To do the rubbing With agreement. Ah! Just imagine! The invitation The perfect flirtation Courtesy of nature Our wardrobe's chauffeur. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

I've always loved how a sweater caresses a woman's curves... especially a button-up cardigan; each button working it's hardest to contain the curves within.

I liked this one, though I hate the cold. And yes women can wear some great outfits in the winter, but I still like the swim suits, shorts and sun dresses better. Come on Spring. " I refuse to belong to any organization that would accept me as a member" Groucho Marx

Thank you for reading and commenting. I am glad you liked the poem. Having a thing for women in sweater's eh? I am fondly remembering how in college I had quite the sweater collection. The days of Bennetton having a store on campus. I remember wearing this big fluffy sweater cream colored with a pink and purple design along with a long skirt and my maroon leather boots. Ha! I liked how I looked. I think other folks did too. When you had to walk everywhere on campus you or at least I dressed for style as well as comfort. Big bags too if they were practical instead of a backpack. ☺️ Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely
